Pamplona is committed to a more stable and accessible rehabilitation model for the city through a network of offices to advice on sustainability and energy transition. Its work focuses on the implementation of actions to promote and accompany urban regeneration processes in the neighbourhood, mainly those related to energy efficiency.
The first two offices of this network were inaugurated in September 2024, in the neighbourhoods of Milagrosa and Rochapea (this one supported by H2020 oPEN Lab project).
The idea is that these offices will advise and accompany citizens and communities on rehabilitation, urban regeneration and energy transition, and will offer a network of key services to support a sustainable model for improving neighbourhoods and housing. They will be a space of proximity and will simplify individual and collective consultations and procedures through the implementation of a one-stop shop. They will also offer up-to-date information on current local, regional and state aid, including subsidies offered through Pamplona City Council’s building ordinance and the new possibilities opened up by the approval of the new urban plan (PEUA) in Milagrosa.
These offices will provide personalised and continuous guidance to improve the energy efficiency in dwellings, as well as advice for the promotion of new energy communities. In this way, not only will environmental sustainability be promoted, but citizens will also be helped to reduce their energy bills, improving the comfort of their homes and their quality of life.
This new public resource continues the line of work carried out in collaboration with Nasuvinsa office in Txantrea as part of the Efidistrict project and the traditional work in this area promoted by the Pamplona Renovation Office (ORVE).
The offices were presented in a public event on the 18th (Milagrosa) and 25th (Rochapea) of September. The sessions included presentations on the services offered and on the experience of the different energy communities created in each neighbourhood, as well as information about the global intervention projects and the grants available at local and regional level. Interesting cases of energy refurbishments carried out in other neighbourhoods were shared by their own architectural teams and Nasuvinsa’s experience with the Txantrea office was presented.
